Q2 2024 Theme Parks Apps Performance on iOS in the US

In Q2 2024, theme park enthusiasts continued to engage with their favorite park apps on iOS. Sensor Tower provides an insightful look into how these apps performed.

Disneyland® Paris saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting the quarter with 34K downloads in the first week and peaking at 64K downloads towards the end of April. Weekly active users also showed variability, starting at 89K and reaching a high of 128K in late May.

My Disney Experience experienced a mixed revenue trend, with an initial 255K USD in the first week of April, dipping to 8K USD in late May, and then climbing to 219K USD mid-June. Downloads for the app ranged from 16K to 59K, while weekly active users started at 54K and reached a high of 71K by the end of April.

The Disneyland® app showed a consistent level of downloads, fluctuating between 20K and 37K throughout the quarter. Revenue saw a notable spike in the third week of May, reaching 82K USD. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, starting at 118K and ending the quarter with 107K.

Universal Studios Hollywood™, with no revenue to report, had downloads beginning at 28K in the first week of April and seeing a low of 4K in early June. The app's weekly active users saw a decrease from 112K to 74K over the course of the quarter.

Lastly, Universal Orlando Resort also with no revenue, had the fewest downloads among the top 5, starting at 9K and dipping to 4K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users ranged from 49K at the quarter's start to 30K by the end of June.
